After the procedure here are some things to remember when you get home:

• Keep ears dry

• Use the ear-drops 3 times a day for 3 days

• Call the office to schedule your 1 to 2-week follow up appointment, if needed Common

 

Questions:

Will there be any pain?

There is very little or no pain.

 

Will there be any drainage?

There should be mild, clear, or yellow drainage for 2-3 days. Occasionally there will be a little blood from the ear.

 

Will there be any fever?

There may be a mild fever (100F).
